Community Outreach at Hamilton Community Church
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery was founded in 1991 by Pastor John Baker of Saddleback Church with the goal of overcoming life's issues with a twelve-step program based on Christian principles. This recovery program addresses all types of habits, hurts and hang-ups. Some recovery programs deal only with alcohol or drugs or another single problem. But Celebrate Recovery is a "large umbrella" program under which a limitless number of issues can be dealt with such as:
Codependency • Recovery from Guilt and Shame • Chemically Addicted • Depression and/or Loss • Sexual Addiction • Love & Relationship Addiction • Eating Disorders • Behaviors & Attitudes • Dealing With Anger • Adult Children of the Chemically Addicted • Brokenness • Recovery from Sexual/Emotional/Physical Abues.
For information regarding our meetings please contact the Hamilton Community Church Celebrate Recovery Leader through through here, and they will be in touch with you soon.
Youth in the Mirror
Youth in the Mirror is a series of self-esteem workshops geared toward ages 6-18! These workshops will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
We will also have a service project planned by our very own youth that we will volunteer for once per month.
The program is a culmination of Promiseland, S.H.O.U.T., and Element 26 staff and teachers! We are working together to provide our youth with the tools to help build positive self-esteem! Everyone can benefit, so parents, talk with your youth and sign up!
Artist Mentoring Program (AMP)
"My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul" Psalm 108:1 NIV
The Artist Mentorship Program or AMP objective is to influence and advise young musicians ages 12-18, in group praise band performance and production.
AMP is comprised of experienced musicians, vocalist and sound engineers who volunteer their time to mentor students in their particular field of study. AMP students are required to attend all classes and participate in all activities. Furthermore, students are expected to practice and/or study their lessons a minimum of two hours per week, outside of class time.
